Meet Kristin
Kristin obtained her Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from Swansea University in Wales, UK. She returned to Canada to obtain her Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar Association in 2019. Kristin practiced Family Law in the Toronto area before choosing to return to her home city of Calgary. After her call to the Alberta Bar Association, Kristin joined Wright Law Office in 2021, practicing Family Law.
Kristin takes a client-centric approach as she guides her clients through a confusing and stressful time in their lives while working to ensure that they understand each step of the process and the timelines involved. She will attempt to negotiate consent resolutions for her files where possible, in part through utilizing alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation, arbitration, and judicial dispute resolution. When circumstances make litigation necessary, Kristin has the confidence and experience to advocate for her clients before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and the Provincial Court of Alberta. In all situations, Kristin is motivated to find solutions that enable clients to move forward with the next chapters of their lives.
Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing piano, reading, swimming and travelling. Kristin serves as a member of her Condominium Board in her free time.
